Course Overview

• This course is designed for ages (7-13) with Scratch programming experience needed.
  
• This course will teach students how to train, learn and test, and make projects using machine learning and build the complete app using scratch.
  
• By the end of the course, students will have a portfolio of apps they’ve created and a solid understanding of AI development concepts.
  

What you'll learn

• Introduction to AI & Machine Learning
  
• What is AI? AI vs. traditional “if-then” coding
  
• Supervised learning: training a model on examples (features + labels)
  
• Building Simple ML Models in Scratch
  
• Using an extension like Scratch ML for Kids or Google’s Teachable Machine
  
• Collecting data: e.g. uploading drawings of cats vs. dogs, or voice samples
  
• Training: feeding examples to the model until it “learns” to distinguish them
